What would your tournament cost?
For players — free, always
Registering for tournaments, playing, live scores, statistics, team management: free. This doesn't change when the open beta ends.
For organizers — €1 per player, per tournament
Anyone can organize on PlusPetanque — clubs, associations, or players hosting their own event. When the open beta ends, running a tournament costs €1 for each participating player. That's it: no subscription, no setup fee, no tiers.
Small tournaments stay free: up to 20 teams (or 20 players in tête-à-tête) cost nothing and don't use up your free tournaments. From 21 teams on, every player counts — 21 triplette teams = 63 players = €63.
Example: 32 triplette teams = 96 players = €96.
During the open beta: everything is free
While the open beta lasts, organizing is free without limits. When it ends, every player and organization receives 2 free tournaments — any size.
We'll announce the end of the open beta on the platform well in advance.

- What counts as a participating player?
- Every player on a team that takes part in the tournament. For example, a tournament with 32 triplette teams has 96 participating players, so running it costs €96.
- Is anything free after the beta?
- Yes — when the open beta ends, every player and organization receives 2 free tournaments of any size. Once they are used, the €1 per participating player price applies.
- Are small tournaments free?
- Yes. A tournament with at most 20 teams (or 20 players in tête-à-tête) is free, even after the open beta, and it doesn't use up your free tournaments. From 21 teams on, the €1 price applies to every participating player — 21 triplette teams cost €63, not just the players above the limit.
- What if teams arrive late or don't show up?
- After you have paid, up to 3 teams can still be added without paying more. If 4 or more teams are added, every added player is charged. It works the same way the other way round: up to 3 missing teams are not refunded; with more, the fee for every missing player is refunded at the end of the tournament. Teams can be added until the end of the first round. A tournament covered by one of your free tournaments takes any number of late teams for free.
