Transparency First: This policy explains what cookies are, how we use them on PlusPetanque Platform, the types of cookies we use, and how you can control your cookie preferences. Your continued use of our platform indicates your acceptance of these practices.

3. How to Manage Cookies
You have several options to control or limit how cookies are used:
Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to refuse or accept cookies, delete existing cookies, and set preferences for certain websites. Check your browser's help documentation for specific instructions.
Platform Preferences
You can adjust your cookie preferences through our cookie consent banner that appears when you first visit, or at any time through your account settings.
Opt-Out Tools
For analytics cookies, you can use tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent your data from being collected.
Device Settings
On mobile devices, you can manage tracking preferences through your device's privacy settings under advertising or tracking options.
Please note: Disabling essential cookies may affect core platform functionality, including authentication and security features. You may be unable to log in or use certain services if these cookies are blocked.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our platform are placed by third-party services that we use to enhance your experience. These may include:
- • Authentication Providers: Google and Facebook OAuth services for social login
- • Analytics Services: Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics, to help us understand platform usage and performance
- • Payment Processors: Paddle, the merchant of record for organizer payments such as the bracket fee. Players never pay through the platform, so no payment cookies are involved in registering for a tournament
- • Content Delivery: CDN services that may use cookies for optimal content delivery
- • Security Services: Bot protection and fraud prevention tools
Each third-party provider operates under their own privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review their policies for more information about how they handle your data.
Widgets on other websites. Organizations can embed PlusPetanque widgets (tournament lists, matches, standings, results, brackets and a registration form) on their own websites. A widget is a page served by PlusPetanque inside a frame. It sets no cookies and loads no analytics on the website that embeds it, so viewing a widget on an organization's site does not place any PlusPetanque cookie in your browser.
5. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our data practices. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a prominent notice on our platform.
We recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
