1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the PlusPetanque Platform website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on PlusPetanque Platform's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• • Modify or copy the materials
• • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial)
• • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the website
• • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3. Open Beta and Pricing

PlusPetanque is currently in an open beta period. During the open beta, use of the platform — including creating and running tournaments — is free of charge for everyone.

When the open beta ends, playing in tournaments and registering for them will remain free for players. Creating and running tournaments will become a paid service for organizers, with pricing based on the number of registered participants in a tournament.

Free tournament allowances granted to accounts do not create any entitlement beyond the granted amount, and free access during the beta period does not create any entitlement to free services after the beta ends. We will announce the end of the open beta on the platform in advance. Current pricing is published on our Pricing page.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for ensuring the security of your account.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions.

Spelers kunnen een eigen account aanmaken zodra ze de leeftijd voor digitale toestemming hebben bereikt die geldt in hun woonland. Die leeftijd ligt tussen 13 en 18 jaar, afhankelijk van het land. Als we het land niet kunnen vaststellen, geldt 18. Onder die leeftijd moet een ouder of wettelijke voogd het account goedkeuren voordat het gebruikt kan worden. Niemand onder de 13 mag een eigen login hebben. Een ouder kan in plaats daarvan een kindprofiel bijhouden onder het eigen account.

Een speler onder de leeftijd voor digitale toestemming vult bij het aanmelden het e-mailadres van een ouder of voogd in. We sturen een goedkeuringslink naar dat adres. De voogd keurt goed met het eigen geverifieerde volwassen PlusPetanque-account en bevestigt volwassen te zijn en de ouder of wettelijke voogd van het kind. Het account kan niet worden gebruikt totdat deze goedkeuring is vastgelegd. Een goedkeuringsverzoek verloopt na 7 dagen en kan opnieuw worden verstuurd.

De voogd bepaalt wat er openbaar is over het kind, keurt teamuitnodigingen goed, kan de rol overdragen aan een andere voogd, kan de toestemming intrekken en kan het account verwijderen. Als de toestemming wordt ingetrokken, kan het kind niet meer inloggen en wordt het account na 30 dagen verwijderd, tenzij een voogd het opnieuw goedkeurt. De voogd wordt geïnformeerd over gebeurtenissen op accountniveau, zoals een wijziging van het e-mailadres, een schorsing of een verwijderverzoek, maar niet over wedstrijden of toernooien.

Zolang er een voogdkoppeling actief is, geldt het volgende voor het account:

• Er wordt geen telefoonnummer op het account opgeslagen. In plaats daarvan worden de contactgegevens van de voogd gebruikt.
• Geen nieuwsbrief, geen marketing-e-mails en geen advertentieprofilering.
• Het account kan geen toernooien organiseren, niet optreden als scheidsrechter en geen API-sleutels, website-widgets of webhooks hebben.
• Teamuitnodigingen bereiken eerst de voogd en kunnen door het kind pas worden geaccepteerd nadat de voogd ze heeft goedgekeurd.
• De geboortedatum is vergrendeld zodra de toestemming is vastgelegd. Alleen wij kunnen hem op verzoek corrigeren, en elke correctie wordt gelogd.
• Het kind kan het account niet alleen verwijderen. Een verwijderverzoek wordt bevestigd door de voogd.

Op de dag dat het kind de leeftijd voor digitale toestemming bereikt die op dat moment geldt in het woonland, eindigt de voogdkoppeling en wordt het account volledig van het kind zelf. De privacy-instellingen blijven precies zoals de voogd ze heeft achtergelaten. Niets wordt uit zichzelf openbaar.

Je moet je echte geboortedatum opgeven. Als we horen dat een accounthouder onder de leeftijd voor digitale toestemming zit, passen we meteen de beschermende instellingen toe en vragen we binnen 30 dagen om goedkeuring van een voogd. Na die periode wordt inloggen geweigerd totdat een voogd goedkeurt. Een account zonder goedkeuring na 120 dagen gaat het normale proces voor accountverwijdering in. Bestaande toernooiinschrijvingen blijven al die tijd geldig.

Een voogd kan een kind dat te jong is voor een account toevoegen als profiel onder de eigen login. Zo'n profiel heeft geen e-mailadres en geen wachtwoord. De voogd schrijft het in voor toernooien, beheert de teams en kan het later omzetten in het eigen account van het kind, dat dan onder de voogdkoppeling blijft tot de leeftijd voor digitale toestemming.

De persoon die een organisatieaccount aanmaakt, bevestigt dat hij of zij volwassen is en gemachtigd is om die organisatie te vertegenwoordigen.

6. API Access, Website Widgets and Webhooks for Organizations

Organization accounts may connect their own websites and systems to the platform in three ways: read-only API keys, embeddable website widgets (tournament lists, matches, standings, results, brackets and a registration form shown inside a frame on the organization's site), and webhooks (notifications we send to a web address the organization provides when something happens in its tournaments). All three are limited to the tournaments the organization organizes, co-administers or runs through its club.

• Confidentiality. API keys are confidential credentials. You are responsible for every request made with your keys, including requests made by agencies, plugins or other services acting on your behalf. Keep keys on your server, never in public web pages, and revoke a key immediately if you believe it has been exposed.
• Permitted use. Data obtained through the API may be displayed only in connection with the tournament it belongs to and must respect the same visibility rules as the platform, including the anonymization of players who have requested it. Reselling the data, collecting it in bulk, or using it for purposes unrelated to the tournament is not permitted.
• Your responsibility as publisher. Where you display participant data on your own website, you are responsible for that display under applicable data protection law, including informing participants and honouring their requests.
• Website widgets. Widgets show the same information as the public tournament page and may only be embedded on the websites you list for them; the list of allowed websites is enforced by the visitor's browser. Where a widget lets visitors register a team, the registration is made with us, under these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and the visitor creates a PlusPetanque account in the process; you must not present the form as your own service or alter it. You are responsible for the pages that embed the widgets and for informing your visitors that content is provided by PlusPetanque.
• Webhooks. You are responsible for the endpoints you register: they must be under your control (or that of a provider acting for you), reachable over HTTPS, and must verify the signature we attach to every delivery. Webhook payloads contain tournament, team, registration and match information for your tournaments and must be handled under the same permitted-use and publisher-responsibility rules as API data. Deliveries are made on a best-effort basis with limited retries; we may disable endpoints that persistently fail and are not responsible for events not received by an unavailable endpoint.
• Limits and availability. Requests and deliveries are rate limited. We may throttle, suspend or revoke API keys, widgets and webhooks that violate these terms or endanger the platform, and we may change or discontinue these integrations with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for any content you post on our platform. You agree not to post content that is:

• • Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, or obscene
• • Infringing on intellectual property rights
• • Containing viruses or malicious code
• • Spam or unsolicited advertising
• • Discriminatory or hateful toward any individual or group

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

10. Platform Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous service availability, we do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times. We may suspend or terminate services temporarily for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state or location.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
