1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the PlusPetanque Platform website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on PlusPetanque Platform's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• • Modify or copy the materials
• • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial)
• • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the website
• • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3. Open Beta and Pricing

PlusPetanque is currently in an open beta period. During the open beta, use of the platform — including creating and running tournaments — is free of charge for everyone.

When the open beta ends, playing in tournaments and registering for them will remain free for players. Creating and running tournaments will become a paid service for organizers, with pricing based on the number of registered participants in a tournament.

Free tournament allowances granted to accounts do not create any entitlement beyond the granted amount, and free access during the beta period does not create any entitlement to free services after the beta ends. We will announce the end of the open beta on the platform in advance. Current pricing is published on our Pricing page.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for ensuring the security of your account.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions.

Spillere kan opprette sin egen konto når de har nådd den digitale samtykkealderen som gjelder i bostedslandet deres. Denne alderen ligger mellom 13 og 18 år avhengig av landet. Hvis vi ikke kan avgjøre landet, gjelder 18 år. Under denne alderen må en forelder eller verge godkjenne kontoen før den kan brukes. Ingen under 13 år kan ha en egen innlogging. En forelder kan i stedet ha en barneprofil under sin egen konto.

En spiller under den digitale samtykkealderen oppgir e-postadressen til en forelder eller verge ved registreringen. Vi sender en godkjenningslenke til den adressen. Vergen godkjenner med sin egen verifiserte PlusPetanque-konto som voksen og bekrefter at vedkommende er voksen og barnets forelder eller verge. Kontoen kan ikke brukes før godkjenningen er registrert. En godkjenningsforespørsel utløper etter 7 dager og kan sendes på nytt.

Vergen bestemmer hva som er offentlig om barnet, godkjenner laginvitasjoner, kan overlate rollen til en annen verge, kan trekke samtykket tilbake og kan slette kontoen. Hvis samtykket trekkes tilbake, kan barnet ikke lenger logge inn, og kontoen fjernes etter 30 dager med mindre en verge godkjenner den på nytt. Vergen får beskjed om hendelser på kontonivå, for eksempel endring av e-postadresse, suspensjon eller en sletteforespørsel, men ikke om kamper eller turneringer.

Så lenge en vergekobling er aktiv, gjelder følgende for kontoen:

• Det lagres ikke noe telefonnummer på kontoen. Vergens kontaktopplysninger brukes i stedet.
• Ingen nyhetsbrev, ingen markedsføringse-post og ingen annonseprofilering.
• Kontoen kan ikke arrangere turneringer, være dommer eller ha API-nøkler, nettstedswidgeter eller webhooks.
• Laginvitasjoner går først til vergen og kan bare godtas av barnet etter at vergen har godkjent dem.
• Fødselsdatoen låses når samtykket er registrert. Bare vi kan rette den, på forespørsel, og hver rettelse logges.
• Barnet kan ikke slette kontoen alene. En sletteforespørsel bekreftes av vergen.

Den dagen barnet når den digitale samtykkealderen som da gjelder i bostedslandet, avsluttes vergekoblingen og kontoen blir helt barnets egen. Personverninnstillingene forblir nøyaktig slik vergen har latt dem stå. Ingenting blir offentlig av seg selv.

Du må oppgi din riktige fødselsdato. Hvis vi får vite at en kontoinnehaver er under den digitale samtykkealderen, bruker vi de beskyttende innstillingene umiddelbart og ber om en verges godkjenning innen 30 dager. Etter den fristen avvises innlogging til en verge har godkjent. En konto uten godkjenning etter 120 dager går inn i den vanlige prosessen for sletting av kontoer. Eksisterende turneringspåmeldinger forblir gyldige hele tiden.

En verge kan legge til et barn som er for ungt for en konto, som en profil under vergens egen innlogging. En slik profil har verken e-postadresse eller passord. Vergen melder den på turneringer, administrerer lagene og kan senere gjøre den om til barnets egen konto, som da blir værende under vergens kobling til den digitale samtykkealderen.

Personen som oppretter en organisasjonskonto bekrefter at vedkommende er voksen og har fullmakt til å representere organisasjonen.

6. API Access, Website Widgets and Webhooks for Organizations

Organization accounts may connect their own websites and systems to the platform in three ways: read-only API keys, embeddable website widgets (tournament lists, matches, standings, results, brackets and a registration form shown inside a frame on the organization's site), and webhooks (notifications we send to a web address the organization provides when something happens in its tournaments). All three are limited to the tournaments the organization organizes, co-administers or runs through its club.

• Confidentiality. API keys are confidential credentials. You are responsible for every request made with your keys, including requests made by agencies, plugins or other services acting on your behalf. Keep keys on your server, never in public web pages, and revoke a key immediately if you believe it has been exposed.
• Permitted use. Data obtained through the API may be displayed only in connection with the tournament it belongs to and must respect the same visibility rules as the platform, including the anonymization of players who have requested it. Reselling the data, collecting it in bulk, or using it for purposes unrelated to the tournament is not permitted.
• Your responsibility as publisher. Where you display participant data on your own website, you are responsible for that display under applicable data protection law, including informing participants and honouring their requests.
• Website widgets. Widgets show the same information as the public tournament page and may only be embedded on the websites you list for them; the list of allowed websites is enforced by the visitor's browser. Where a widget lets visitors register a team, the registration is made with us, under these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and the visitor creates a PlusPetanque account in the process; you must not present the form as your own service or alter it. You are responsible for the pages that embed the widgets and for informing your visitors that content is provided by PlusPetanque.
• Webhooks. You are responsible for the endpoints you register: they must be under your control (or that of a provider acting for you), reachable over HTTPS, and must verify the signature we attach to every delivery. Webhook payloads contain tournament, team, registration and match information for your tournaments and must be handled under the same permitted-use and publisher-responsibility rules as API data. Deliveries are made on a best-effort basis with limited retries; we may disable endpoints that persistently fail and are not responsible for events not received by an unavailable endpoint.
• Limits and availability. Requests and deliveries are rate limited. We may throttle, suspend or revoke API keys, widgets and webhooks that violate these terms or endanger the platform, and we may change or discontinue these integrations with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for any content you post on our platform. You agree not to post content that is:

• • Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, or obscene
• • Infringing on intellectual property rights
• • Containing viruses or malicious code
• • Spam or unsolicited advertising
• • Discriminatory or hateful toward any individual or group

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

10. Platform Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous service availability, we do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times. We may suspend or terminate services temporarily for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state or location.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
