1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the PlusPetanque Platform website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on PlusPetanque Platform's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• • Modify or copy the materials
• • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial)
• • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the website
• • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3. Open Beta and Pricing

PlusPetanque is currently in an open beta period. During the open beta, use of the platform — including creating and running tournaments — is free of charge for everyone.

When the open beta ends, playing in tournaments and registering for them will remain free for players. Creating and running tournaments will become a paid service for organizers, with pricing based on the number of registered participants in a tournament.

Free tournament allowances granted to accounts do not create any entitlement beyond the granted amount, and free access during the beta period does not create any entitlement to free services after the beta ends. We will announce the end of the open beta on the platform in advance. Current pricing is published on our Pricing page.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for ensuring the security of your account.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions.

Jucătorii își pot crea propriul cont după ce ajung la vârsta consimțământului digital aplicabilă în țara lor de reședință. Această vârstă este între 13 și 18 ani, în funcție de țară. Acolo unde nu putem stabili țara, se aplică 18 ani. Sub această vârstă, un părinte sau tutore legal trebuie să aprobe contul înainte ca acesta să poată fi folosit. Nimeni sub 13 ani nu poate avea un cont de autentificare propriu. În schimb, un părinte poate ține un profil de copil sub propriul cont.

Un jucător sub vârsta consimțământului digital introduce la înscriere adresa de e-mail a unui părinte sau tutore. Trimitem la această adresă un link de aprobare. Tutorele aprobă cu propriul cont PlusPetanque de adult verificat și confirmă că este adult și părinte sau tutore legal al copilului. Contul nu poate fi folosit până când aprobarea nu este înregistrată. O cerere de aprobare expiră după 7 zile și poate fi trimisă din nou.

Tutorele decide ce este public despre copil, aprobă invitațiile în echipe, poate transmite rolul altui tutore, poate retrage consimțământul și poate șterge contul. Dacă este retras consimțământul, copilul nu se mai poate autentifica, iar contul este eliminat după 30 de zile, cu excepția cazului în care un tutore îl aprobă din nou. Tutorele este informat despre evenimentele la nivel de cont, cum ar fi schimbarea e-mailului, o suspendare sau o cerere de ștergere, dar nu despre meciuri sau turnee.

Cât timp legătura cu tutorele este activă, pentru cont se aplică următoarele:

• Pe cont nu este stocat niciun număr de telefon. În locul lui se folosesc datele de contact ale tutorelui.
• Fără buletin informativ, e-mailuri de marketing sau profilare publicitară.
• Contul nu poate organiza turnee, nu poate acționa ca arbitru și nu poate deține chei API, widgeturi pentru site-uri web sau webhookuri.
• Invitațiile în echipe ajung mai întâi la tutore, iar copilul le poate accepta doar după ce tutorele le-a aprobat.
• Data nașterii este blocată după înregistrarea consimțământului. Numai noi o putem corecta, la cerere, iar fiecare corecție este înregistrată.
• Copilul nu poate șterge singur contul. O cerere de ștergere este confirmată de tutore.

În ziua în care copilul ajunge la vârsta consimțământului digital aplicabilă atunci în țara sa de reședință, legătura cu tutorele se încheie, iar contul devine în totalitate al lui. Setările de confidențialitate rămân exact așa cum le-a lăsat tutorele. Nimic nu devine public de la sine.

Trebuie să furnizezi data ta reală de naștere. Dacă aflăm că titularul unui cont este sub vârsta consimțământului digital, aplicăm imediat setările de protecție și cerem aprobarea unui tutore în termen de 30 de zile. După această perioadă, autentificarea este refuzată până când un tutore aprobă contul. Un cont fără aprobare după 120 de zile intră în procesul obișnuit de ștergere a contului. Înscrierile existente la turnee rămân valabile pe tot parcursul.

Un tutore poate adăuga un copil prea mic pentru un cont ca profil sub propria autentificare. Un astfel de profil nu are adresă de e-mail și nici parolă. Tutorele îl înscrie la turnee, îi gestionează echipele și îl poate transforma ulterior în contul propriu al copilului, care rămâne apoi sub legătura cu tutorele până la vârsta consimțământului digital.

Persoana care creează un cont de organizație confirmă că este adultă și autorizată să reprezinte organizația respectivă.

6. API Access, Website Widgets and Webhooks for Organizations

Organization accounts may connect their own websites and systems to the platform in three ways: read-only API keys, embeddable website widgets (tournament lists, matches, standings, results, brackets and a registration form shown inside a frame on the organization's site), and webhooks (notifications we send to a web address the organization provides when something happens in its tournaments). All three are limited to the tournaments the organization organizes, co-administers or runs through its club.

• Confidentiality. API keys are confidential credentials. You are responsible for every request made with your keys, including requests made by agencies, plugins or other services acting on your behalf. Keep keys on your server, never in public web pages, and revoke a key immediately if you believe it has been exposed.
• Permitted use. Data obtained through the API may be displayed only in connection with the tournament it belongs to and must respect the same visibility rules as the platform, including the anonymization of players who have requested it. Reselling the data, collecting it in bulk, or using it for purposes unrelated to the tournament is not permitted.
• Your responsibility as publisher. Where you display participant data on your own website, you are responsible for that display under applicable data protection law, including informing participants and honouring their requests.
• Website widgets. Widgets show the same information as the public tournament page and may only be embedded on the websites you list for them; the list of allowed websites is enforced by the visitor's browser. Where a widget lets visitors register a team, the registration is made with us, under these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and the visitor creates a PlusPetanque account in the process; you must not present the form as your own service or alter it. You are responsible for the pages that embed the widgets and for informing your visitors that content is provided by PlusPetanque.
• Webhooks. You are responsible for the endpoints you register: they must be under your control (or that of a provider acting for you), reachable over HTTPS, and must verify the signature we attach to every delivery. Webhook payloads contain tournament, team, registration and match information for your tournaments and must be handled under the same permitted-use and publisher-responsibility rules as API data. Deliveries are made on a best-effort basis with limited retries; we may disable endpoints that persistently fail and are not responsible for events not received by an unavailable endpoint.
• Limits and availability. Requests and deliveries are rate limited. We may throttle, suspend or revoke API keys, widgets and webhooks that violate these terms or endanger the platform, and we may change or discontinue these integrations with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for any content you post on our platform. You agree not to post content that is:

• • Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, or obscene
• • Infringing on intellectual property rights
• • Containing viruses or malicious code
• • Spam or unsolicited advertising
• • Discriminatory or hateful toward any individual or group

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

10. Platform Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous service availability, we do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times. We may suspend or terminate services temporarily for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state or location.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
